- Pugna's ulti no longer a channeling spell and is considered a debuff/buff.

- Dark seer's surge can now be used on enemy units and will slow for 30% on all levels. Duration on enemy units are 1/2.5/3/4s

Dota 6.56 Ai Plus Revision 2 Map Download

DotA 6.57 seems straightforward enough. Looks like I might have to manually redo all the regions again, which is pain, but not difficult.

Okay. Thanks guys, I'll see if I can have something up as soon as tomorrow.

Also, an update on that command line thing: you'll note that long commands only fail with 10 players (works fine with 9). It seems to be hanging on the Scoreboard generation routine, which you can see when you try to input a long command with 10 players. The scoreboard will appear in the upper right corner (says "DotA Allstars", regardless of the mode), and if you open it, you'll see it's only half done. There's probably a loop that keeps running and stops the script from proceeding, which halts the system from detecting the specified game modes. I need to look at it more (I only glanced briefly at it last night before going to bed).


Also, fixed KOTL learning attribute bonuses and Crystal Maiden now learns Brilliance Aura after Frost Nova and Frostbite (instead of at levels 22-25).


Then it's the same bug, there was no AI in my game. Command tested in 6.54 rev5, without -fr, of course, and it works.

I tryed 6.56 r2 with just me and no ai.

Mode -arnestemngnnidpmmcfr don` work.
Mode -arnestemngnnidpmmc work ok.

And my comp is not too bad.

Hm, okay. I don't think it's an -fr specific bug, but just to be safe, can somebody try -armestemngnnidpmmcoi" just to double-check? (Replace that last fr with oi). It's possible there's some arithmetic bug between total number of players and string length (both of which are generated pre-scoreboard generation), but I can't seem to see a pattern. =/

i m little confused, skadi is a buff for ranged heroes ok? and sange in an orb effect.
which mean both can be inflicted by a ranged hero.

so when terrorblade metamorphs he gets a ranged attack still skadi and sange both dont work at sametime.
only way is to drop skadi and pick it again. then skadi and sange both work.
but after metamorphosis is over, the item description still say skadi its ranged!!!

is this a problem? why dosent skadi changes by itself.
secondly after all this thing how AI terrorblade manages to get both orb effect and buff placer in metamorphosis? i mean he dosent know that dropping skadi and picking it again will make it a ranged buff

Yeah, I don't think Skadi is supposed to change by itself. The build was designed by Overflow with the stipulation in mind that Terrorblade would pick up Skadi while Metamorphed so that he would carry Ranged Skadi so that Frost Attack and Maim would stack, but I never got around to actually doing that. =/ Though come to think of it, I could probably modify the recipe trigger so that if AI Terrorblade builds Skadi he gets Ranged Skadi instead of normal Skadi, which would then make the build work as expected. I'd actually completely forgotten about that until you brought it up. =P

I didn't know that AI lost no gold from "picking" a hero. Does that mean they start with the same gold in ap as they do in ar? If so that should probably be fixed. I don't mind them starting with extra gold, but the difference should be the same regardless of the mode.

Eh, think of it this way. The AI always randoms a hero. If you force pick a hero, what happens is that you (the player) picks the hero, the AI gains control of it, and you are reimbursed for the hero cost.

So, if you don't pick the hero for them in -ap, basically the AI just uses -random. I believe using -random in -ap and starting a game with -ar will result in them having the same amount of gold anyway, so I don't see a need to change this. Unless I'm wrong about the using -random and -ar thing. But...I probably won't change anything anyway, at least not now. =P

In short, a mana rupture. The numbers are 0.035/0.04/0.045/0.050% of total
manapool drained per unit moved. So, if the target moves 700 units, at level
1 it loses 24.5% of total mana pool.. at level 4 it loses 35% of its total
mana pool. Duration of the buff is 5/6/7/8

If the target runs out of mana, the effect stops and the target is stunned
for 1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds.

Chakra:
======
Increased cast range(500->900), lowered cooldown a bit(19->19/18/17/16

++ Bounty Hunter

Track:

The movement bonus is now given in an area around the tracked unit to all
allied units. The bonus bounty is given to bounty hunter as long as the
target dies while under the buff, the killer is not a factor. See tooltip
for more data. Costs 50 mana all levels.

Captains Mode:
--------------

Blue and Pink are the team captains. A random side starts the process(you
can customize this, see below)

Ban Time: 40
Pick Time: 60
Extra Time: 45

You start by alternating 1/1/1 in the ban phase. Each captain removes up to
4 heroes. Running out of time does not result in a random hero ban.

After that you enter the 1/2/2/ pick phase. Each captain picks the heroes
his team will use.

If at any time you run out of time, you start to use up your extra time. If
you run out and you are in pick phase, you get a random hero.

Creeps spawn 90 seconds after the pick draft phase is over. Right after the
hero pick phase ends, the 5 heroes for your team are presented with a
checkmark on them (RD style) allowing players on your team to pick which one
they want to be.

The captain that starts this process is random. If you want to give the
starting to Sentinel, type -cm 1 or -cm 2 for Scourge after the game mode is
entered.

The picks, bans, timers, etc are all presented in a board for easy viewing
by team mates and observers.

After playing Dota 6.55, there are a lot of bugs need to be fixed. Here are some of the bugs that I encounter during playing Dota 6.55


I was playing against a Syllabear who killed Roshan and accidently picked up non-droppable new aegis with his bear.The bear never dropped it, and every time it died, it would just resurrect at the spot it died with aegis still in its inventory. It could also still attack, even if the hero was dead, as long as it was within the restricting attack range from where Syllabear died.

I was playing leshrac with bloodstone and magic stick. Me and potm killed roshan and about 5 seconds after i picked up the aegis, everyone in the game fatal errored.

I am not sure how helpful I can be, but this was my experience yesterday: I loaded a single player game to test out the new heroes. I turned on -noherolimit so I could experience a lot of changes. I was particularly enjoying Windrunner, and I took her to solo Roshan - I got the Aegis on her, and noticed the timer. At this time I chose the new Captain hero and played around with him for a while - Roshan was back, and I decided to take Windrunner to visit him. She still had the Aegis on (with a number "1" in the corner) and I killed him, getting a second Aegis (with a new timer).

Strange, my aegis did not show any timer....It just show number one like Aegis in older version.when i test it with Meepo, Clones has 200 mana only when they reincarnate.

* Towers protecting tree and throne has been changed
* Ezalor's Mana Leak and Ignis Fatuus have been changed...
* Mana Leak is now "Mana Rupture", which does what it says; it's like Rupture of Bloodseeker, only MP is damaged instead of HP.
* Ignis now no longer spawns the healers, instead it has:
* Blinding Light, which affects like an area similar to Shiva's Guard, and it blinds enemies affects by 80% for 5 seconds, and knocks back as well...
* Recall, the Ignis channels for 4 seconds, targeting an ally hero. After 4 seconds, the hero is teleported to the Ignis... that's right... free travel... the ignis shouldn't be damaged while doing this or else the channeling will be interrupted... and the hero can freely move while waiting to be teleported
* Clockwerk was nerfed again stat wise, not sure.
* Chakra magic was changed also, at lvl 4 85 mana cast, 16s cooldown, restores 300 mana, instant cast, no buffs added (hp regen, + dmg, like it was before)
* Tango now 3 charges which heal 115 hp over 16 seconds.
* BKB recipe now 1300, but now use mithril hammer instead of broadsword

New Hero - Alleria The Windrunner
Layout Changes:
  • Sent hero taverns now on bottom right
  • Fountain is farther away from tree
  • Waterfalls on left that you can walk into but has no effect

Items Changes:
  • Crow doesn't have mana upgrade=no more ward placing
  • The courier has the skill Drop items (drops all the items the courier is carrying)
  • Dagger is now not disabled by towers, neutral creeps, roshan, or his spells... looks like its only disabled if the source of the dmg is from an enemy hero.
  • Phase Boots - Boots of Speed + Chain mail + Blades of Attack (No recipe cost).
  • Before forming the item: +50 speed, +9 damage, +5 armor
  • After forming the item: +60 speed, +14 damage, +6 armor and the active ability Phase which gives a further 10% MS boost speed and the ability to move through other units (similar to Spectre's phase dagger, i.e. 0 collision size) for 5 seconds. Cooldown: 10 seconds. Mana cost: 0
  • So, on an average, you get +77 speed. More than Treads, less than Travels (but more than Travels when Phasing). The 0 collision size should be useful for chasers. Having to activate the ability every 10 seconds may get annoying. Also, Wind Walk-type spells removes the Phase buff. (You can still walk through units, as with any Wind Walk based ability, but you lose the 10% speed bonus from Phase.) Not sure if this is a bug or intended
  • Blades of Attack: 500 gold
  • Observer wards: Stock max=2 Replenish time: 6 minutes
  • Scroll of Town Portal has no cooldown when you buy it (you can buy as many as you like without having to wait to it to replenish in the stock)
  • When teleporting to a friendly tower (and only towers), it doesn't get +99999 armor but it can attack AND you can choose where to teleport in a 300 range or so of the tower without having a unit/building as teleport target. (only scrolls work, not boots of travel):
Updates from previous Betas:
  • Poison Powder is no longer exist
  • Undying still tiny
  • Enigma's ulti doesn't have dark effect (as stated on earlier betas)
  • Ezalor's recall: 40 seconds cooldown, and it stops when the target is damaged, if ezalor is attacked the recall is not interrupted
  • Coco's Rum is now ulti, 60 cooldown, it gives 3/4/5 seconds of 100% 2x criticals and you don't get any penalty (no more missed attacks) the next seconds.
Item Changes
  • Lothars = Claymore + Quarterstaff + 1400 recipe
  • Diffusal Blade = 2xblade of Alacrity + Robe of Magi + 850 recipe
  • Sange+Yasha recipe = 500 less ms increase and dmg

  • Glyph of Fortification , you can instantly boost your buildings' armor for 4 sec every 6 min now in one of the shops. You don't buy it, just click the icon in the shop.

  • Gloves of Haste = 550 -> 500
  • Armlet recipe = 700 -> 900
  • You can buy scrolls of Town Portal in the shops on the side lanes now and some trees were removed. so the area around the shops is way more open now.
  • Aegis no longer revives you at the base. you will revive where you die.
  • Vanguard grants 50 extra hp
  • Heart has 4 extra hp regen
Layouts
  • Scourge base was rearranged so base layouts are symmetric again
  • Scourge tavern now in top-left of the map
  • There is a message displayed whenever someone destroys a tower, "Drake has destroyed a tower", or "The Sentinel has destroyed a tower"
Update from previous Beta
  • Dirge: size back to normal
Alleria the Windrunner
  • New ultimate, Focus Fire. Seems to give max attack speed for 9 attacks as long as your attacking the target. At max level, you attack for full damage, at level one u do less damage per attack, don't know what the exact percent is, maybe 33%/66%/100%. Thanks God it's changed, the old ultimate is way too IMBA in my opinion ^_^
  • Shackle Shot, Windrunner 1st skill is no longer pushes back, it will 'link' two units together and stun them both, hence, shackles... it wont stun nearly as long if there is no unit near by.
  • Power Shot, Windrunner 2nd skill, now has a short casting delay, and i think it does more dmg. (360 dmg at max lvl, and -10% damage per target it passes through, or at least the second target takes 324 dmg)
  • "Windrunner" now become 3rd skills. Looks like "sprint"gives a 50% ms increase, and 100% evasion for 3/4/5/6 seconds

Alleria The Windrunner

Beside Captain Coco, there is a new hero name Alleria The Windrunner. From the name, it looks like this new hero seems to pose an agi type but Alleria The Windrunner is an int type. Her ultimate turn her into a tornado, which is a completely flying unit, for several seconds. Flying unit means you can move over trees, hills and has complete sight over it. It means you cannot juke from her while she is using Windrunner

Deals 100/200/280/360 damage to all enemies in straight line. The arrow has vision and knocks down trees in the process. (1200 unit cast distance)
The damages hits whatever it's go through and even can cut the trees. After the update, there's short delay before the arrow released.

Always knocks back the target. If the target hits a group of units or a tree, the struck units (including the target) are stunned for 0/1/2/3 seconds. (700 unit cast distance)

It will link two units together and stun them both, hence, shackles. It wont stun nearly as long if there is no unit near by..(same like stunt by Witch Doctor)



This is the old ultimate, and now it's being nerfed and changed. Say goodbye to these awesome picture below T_T I decide to not delete these picture because i like it very much, even if now it already replaced..

Kunkka, Captain Coco - The Admiral Proudmoore Skills

Kunkka, Captain Coco - The Admiral Proudmoore is a Strength type hero in Sentinel. I loved the TideBringer skills. The splash damage is very high and you can earn money easily .The cleaving effect and damage is higher compare to TideHunter and Sven cleaving and even Battle fury effect. I suggest you buy Ring of Basillus so that you can turn on the cleaving attack continuously. Later you can change it to Vladimir. The Ghostship skills is used to avoid the enemy from running from us. A ghostship is summoned to draw the enemies if they try to escape. The third skill is mark the spot,marks a hero and leaves an X in its area, after a few seconds(not sure how many) the targetted hero moves back to the X mark. This skills function is like the reverse time.His ultimate gives 2x critical for several seconds, really neat to kill a hero quickly.There is another new hero, Alleria the Windrunner.

Assuming Tidebringer is on max level, 1 second after tide bringer when activated, it will deal about 300 damage to units in a 220 radius. After damage is dealt, it gives Kunkka an extra 60 damage and an 100% cleaving attack which affects units for around 500 distance. However, this buff only lasts for 8-10 seconds or 5 hits (Like Ursa's Overpower) Great for farming.

When you cast the spell, the targeted ally hero gains 20% bonus ms and a high (100%?) chance to crit for 2x damage. This buff lasts for about 5 seconds. Use it to kill enemy, combined with Mask of Madness, i think this skills is really great.

After releasing 6.54 Map for download, a new Dota Map 6.55 Beta 7 was leaked! The changelog for Dota 6.55 Map Leak Beta 7 still not clear since the IceFrog prohibited it from been release. I hope that you can share with us the difference after playing Dota 6.55 Map Leak Beta 7

The current changelogs for DotA Allstars v6.55 Beta 7 are :

Changelogs from Monkit:
-Have a close look on the Black King Bar. It's a very interresting change
-towers protecting tree and throne has been changed
-Ezalor's Mana Leak and Ignis Fatuus have been changed...
Mana Leak is now "Mana Rupture", which does what it says; it's like Rupture of Bloodseeker, only MP is damaged instead of HP.
Ignis now no longer spawns the healers, instead it has:
- Blinding Light; which affects like an area similar to Shiva's Guard, and it blinds enemies affects by 80% for 5 seconds, and knocks back as well...
and another ability (which will most likely be edited like hell)
- Recall; the Ignis channels for 4 seconds, targeting an ally hero. After 4 seconds, the hero is teleported to the Ignis... that's right... free travel... the ignis shouldn't be damaged while doing this or else the channeling will be interrupted... and the hero can freely move while waiting to be teleported
and I think Clockwerk was nerfed again stat wise, not sure.
-chakra magic was changed also, at lvl 4 85 mana cast, 16s cooldown, restores 300 mana, instant cast, no buffs added (hp regen, + dmg, like it was before)
-tangos got modified too (i don't know if it is a buff or a nerf)

A few updates for the changelog

-New Dota Sentinel Hero - Captain Coco, Admiral Proudmoore
The most noticable skill is using a ghostship to hit the enemies. The other skill self buff, so i'm not sure yet. His first skill when activated make you have splash damage, his third skill still i can't find it yet. His ultimate is mark the spot, i assume that when you got damaged, you instantly return to where you are marking the spot. Still not sure if this hero will be implemented
-Tango now 3 charges which heal 115 hp over 16 seconds.
-BKB recipe now 1300, but now use mithril hammer instead of broadsword
